An iterative collection of point and click adventure style prototypes.
These prototypes each introduced new features and mechanics to the point-and-click adventure game I had been working on. These include:
- Scene transitions
- Dialogue system
- Choices
- Actions
- Inventory
- Companions
- Save/load system
Dusk is a simple click-through visual novel (asset sources unknown).
Arcturus borrows assets from The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (Bethesda, 2006).
Chrono Cross borrows assets from Chrono Cross (Square-Enix, 1999).
Policenauts borrows assets from Policenauts (Konami, 1994).
Eyeballs is a hidden-object inspired game (asset sources unknown).
Tour Guide Choices is a simple event-driven dialogue sequence (asset sources unknown).
Music and artwork have been borrowed from various sources, most notably Journey (thatgamecompany, 2011), Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (Konami, 2008), and various Final Fantasy titles (Square-Enix).
